We are hoping that the 2nd half of the year doesn’t bring locusts and zombies…

Like everyone else around the world, we watched the video of George Floyd being killed by an officer of the law on May 25th. However for us, the event took place – literally – just down the street from where we live. Like many of you who receive this newsletter, Minneapolis is our beloved home, and these recent days have been surreal for us. As humans, we are reason-seeking machines. And right now, we’re trying to make sense of the horrible and the absurd.
